Thank you for your submitting films to II edition of Vagrant Film Festival (VFF)!
I just come in Belarus, the place of holding Vagrant Film Festival at the time of autumn equinox, the 22th of September.
The Festival would be the finish point of Vagrant Cinema Club trip through Central and Eastern Europe: Poland, Czech, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary and the Ukraine that was started after summer solstice VFF. The programs were screened in Warsaw, Krakow, Ostrava, Brno, Wien, Bratislava and small towns on the walls of historical buildings, bigboard, railway station, culture gallery, parking, squat and even the backside of music box (Brno).
You are welcome in Minsk, to the free-art space “La-mora”. The VFF will be held in the apple-tree garden. If it will be raining we replace to the old wooden house. Please take the sleeping bags and warm clothes. Say me if you need a visa invitation letter.
The Grand-prix is the relic of Vagrant Cinema Club. The holy artefact was acquired in the centre of Wien after passing the alcohol test. We, riding bikes after the evening screening, were stopped by the police. No more than one hour before, the viewers generously stood beer for me during the screening in front of the Opera theatre. After my few unlucky tricks with the test, the babe in the police form forced me to make a deep breath and blow in the tube. At this moment I was praying to my Master hotly! And the test tube indicated nothing — the first and the second, and the third time. The copes didn’t believe it, but at that moment they received a command through the walkietalkie – they had to chase someone right now. “It was your lucky day, guy!” — said the babe and presented me the tip of the test-tube.
The holiness of the Grand-prix is verified by night luminescence of the tip.
The programme will be soon!
